Our Founder - Norm Haase

Norm is the visionary founder of Haase Construction Inc., a company built on a foundation of craftsmanship and dedication. He developed his carpentry skills alongside his father during his formative years, which instilled in him a love for building and a strong work ethic. He used this strong work ethic to establish Haase Construction Inc.

Norm has successfully integrated his passion for construction with his commitment to faith. For 26 years, he has organized volunteer work crews at a vibrant church camp in Miamisburg, Ohio. In addition to his professional endeavors, he actively serves the community through his involvement with Beacon Baptist Church in Taylor, where he offers his skills and time to support the church & mission.

Contact Garrett

Garrett Haase - Production Manager

Garrett began remodeling as soon as he was old enough to assist his dad. He has worked full-time for Haase Construction since graduating from Flat Rock High School. He is a master of finish carpentry and tile work and is experienced in all phases of construction. As the Production Manager and partial owner of Haase Construction, Garrett is on-site every day. He ensures that the crews have the right tools, materials, and expertise to complete their assigned tasks. Additionally, he is actively involved in the leadership of Downriver Community Church.

Rebecca Haase – Accounting

Rebecca gained her experience in bookkeeping early in her career through the jobs she worked while completing a degree in Business Management. After a short break from the corporate world to start a family, she continued working on the finance side of business in financial management positions and officially joined our team in 2018. Rebecca also is actively involved in the leadership of Downriver Community Church.

Contact Rachel

Rachel Thompson - Lead Designer

Lead Designer since 2021, Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Eastern Michigan University and brings 25 years of experience in kitchen and bath design. She is dedicated to delivering personalized, hands-on service, collaborating closely with clients to transform their spaces. Her design approach combines modern trends with timeless elegance, effectively bringing each client’s vision to life. Rachel is an active member and regularly attends Metro City Church, located in the downriver area.

Contact Bill

Bill Hammermeister - Estimator /Architect / Sales

Bill joined the team in 2023 and has over 40 years of experience in architectural design and estimating. He has been involved in numerous projects across both the residential and commercial sectors. Bill has worked exclusively for a residential construction company for the past 16 years.

Michael Hugan – Lead Carpenter

Michael graduated from high school in 2011 and attended the University of Michigan - Dearborn for 2 years. He began working at Haase Construction in 2013. Michael has a strong understanding of mechanical and construction concepts. He is skilled in many areas of construction and specializes in kitchen and bath remodeling. He pays close attention to detail and is an expert in tile work. Michael is also actively involved in the ministry at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Austin Stapleton - Lead Carpenter

Austin launched his full-time career with Haase Construction in 2016, right after graduating from high school. He specializes in small bathroom projects and is an expert in shower and bathtub replacements. Additionally, he contributes to various tasks as needed. Austin takes his time on each project to ensure he delivers high-quality results. He is also actively involved in the ministry at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Tom Clubine - Lead Carpenter

Tom joined Haase Construction as a full-time employee in 2017, shortly after completing his high school education. He is a highly skilled remodeler known for delivering exceptional quality in his work. Tom consistently demonstrates reliability and versatility, enabling him to adapt and contribute effectively wherever needed. His proactive approach and strong work ethic make him a valuable asset to our team. He is also actively involved in the ministry at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Riley Lawrence - Carpenter

Riley started his full-time position at Haase Construction in January 2021, soon after graduating from high school. Although he is relatively new to carpentry, he has demonstrated impressive improvement in his skills and a strong eagerness to learn new techniques. He has proven to be an asset in supporting our lead carpenters. In addition to his work in construction, Riley is actively involved in the ministry at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church.
